Just Finished - In My Own World

In My Own World
10 x 15
Gouache on watercolor paper
$400.00 Matted & Framed  (Frame size 16 x 20)

Using a new type of gouache (Turner)
I am able to keep it loose because the paint flows better & retains it's richness of color. Such a pleasure to paint now. I'm not struggling to capture what I see in my mind.

On my easel - Uwchlan Friends Meeting House

Uwchlan Meetinghouse is a historic Quaker meeting house located on North Village Avenue (Pennsylvania Route 113) at Lionville in Uwchlan Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1756, and is a 2 1⁄2-story, rubble fieldstone structure with a gable roof. During the winter of 1777–78, it was used as a hospital by the Continental Army at Valley Forge and staffed by Dr. Bodo Otto (1711–1787).

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

First pass - blocking in shapes and color
