Used the flaws of the slate to dictate what I was going to paint.
It's fun trying something different.
It's a little challenging with the acrylic paint being on the transparent side. You need to work in layers, some times painting in very light colors and building up to the darkness that you want. I wanted a night view and I believe I captured the mood I was looking for.
